Socomec, as CEMEP UPS manufacturer member, has signed a Code of Conduct put forward by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC), to ensure the protection of critical applications and processes ensuring 24/7 continuous high quality supply. The JRC commits to mitigating energy losses and gas emissions caused by UPS equipment, therefore maximising UPS efficiency

SD-AGENT SW certified for NUTANIX cloud platform

The Socomec SD-Agent SW is now together with NUTANIX cloud platform to performed an all-in-one solution able to guarantees a complete system shutdown in case of power supply outage, avoiding loss of data and preventing problems in the recovery phase. The SD-Agent restarts automatically the whole cluster on normal conditions.

By participating in the annual rally raid - the Dakar Rally 2022 - along with the GCK, a company founded by Guerlain Chicherit, rally and rallycross driver and professional skier who was four times world champion in freeriding, Socomec is testing its technologies in the most extreme conditions and promoting the transition to a zero-carbon Dakar.

At the beginning of this year, the ABC Grenoble (Autonomous Building for Citizens) property programme, supported by Bouygues Construction, entered its operational phase with the implementation of its "Energy" component. The aim is to move towards energy autonomy by maximising the consumption of locally produced photovoltaic energy through a collective self-consumption approach.
