Keen to engage with the scientific community - and to continue to support local educational institution The University of Strasbourg - Socomec has committed to a five-year sponsorship of the new “Data Sciences and Artificial Intelligence” chair at the Telecom Physique Strasbourg School of Engineering, with the recruitment of internationally-acclaimed expert researcher, Thomas Lampert.
Socomec’s involvement means that it is now possible to bring together this important academic research with real-world applications – developing an unprecedented understanding of how AI might impact adaptive, preventive maintenance activities, the detection of atypia and the optimisation of operations.
