The photovoltaic load break switches marketed by SOCOMEC are current cut-off devices specifically designed for photovoltaic applications in order to operate under extreme conditions.
These devices perform on load making and breaking in all applications of photovoltaic circuits up to 1500 VDC, whether these applications are floating, bipolar or earthed.
Load break switches can be used, for example, in photovoltaic circuits, in solar panel farms, during maintenance operations or for emergency switching following a fire or electric shock.
