SOCOMEC UPS is one of the first UPS manufacturers to subscribe to the European Code of Conduct regarding Energy Efficiency and Quality of Uninterruptible Power Supplies.

The European Code of Conduct is a voluntary regulation governing the conduct of manufacturers of high efficiency, high quality UPS equipment. It promotes reduced energy consumption and improved efficiency of advanced UPS equipment. The European Code of Conduct establishes minimum performance requirements, with special attention to the efficiency of commercial three-phase UPS equipment placed on the market later than 1 January 2008.
